Question: I have a dark stain on a new granite counter top?

I have this dark stain - perhaps the sealant wore off? Now what do I do with it? What is the best way to take care of this surface???

Your granite still can stain with sealing, stone is porous. I am giving you a link regrading care for granite and directions for making and applying a poultice. You basically have to suck the stain out. onlinetips.org/ granite-countertops

Talk to the people who installed it...or the store you bought it from...granite if it's polished and sealed shouldn't stain like that...if it was something REALLY hot, it may have burned it.
